Shirley J. Claunch

Mrs. Shirley J. Claunch, age 77, of Anna died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at her home in Anna. She was born March 31, 1935 in East Prairie, Missouri, the daughter of Guy A. and Verda Nunn Weeks. She married Everett Claunch on July 22, 1953 in Dongola. Shirley is survived by her husband Everett Claunch of Anna; one daughter, Terrie Lee Claunch of Anna; and one son, Michael Guy Claunch of Anna; one sister, Dorothy Lee Hileman of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley retired after twenty two years as a teller at the Anna State Bank. Graveside funeral services were held privately at the Anna City Cemetery officiated by Rev. Paul Sadler. Interment was in the Anna City Cemetery. Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
