Shirley Ann Brimm

Shirley Ann Brimm, age 79 of Bastrop, Texas and formerly of Anna, died at 12:40 am, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at St. David's Hospital in Austin, Texas. She was born on June 17, 1932, the daughter of Lewis and Elva (Atherton) Fite. Shirley married James Patrick Brimm on July 4, 1950 in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1998. Shirley is survived by one son, Jeff (Margret) Brimm of Woodland Park, CO; a former son-in-law, Todd Hume of Bastrop, TX; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Jack (Becky) Brimm of Anna; two sisters-in-law, Janice (Ron) Garner of Anna and Peggy Bourland of Joplin, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a daughter, Erica Hume. Funeral services for Shirley Ann Brimm will be conducted at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with the Jimmy Keller officiating. Burial will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman funeral home in Anna on Thursday, February 9 from 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 11:00 am.
