Sherry Lou Schwarting

Mrs. Sherry Lou "Boomer" Schwarting, age 72 of Jonesboro, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at her home. She was born May 31, 1943 in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Otto and June Krumbine Galbrecht. Sherry is survived by her two sons, Michael Schwarting of Santee, CA, and William Schwarting of Fremont, NE; many beautiful grandchildren; one sister, Sandra (Louie) Tellor of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Paul Galbrecht. Sherry has battled her illness for twenty two years. Eleven years ago she moved to Jonesboro to live with her Sister and Brother-in-law Sandra and Louie Tellor who were her care givers. Sherry was of the Catholic Faith. She was her family's best friend, and beloved sister, no matter what she went through, she always made sure her family kept smiling. God Bless You Boomer! According to her wishes, Sherry will be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.
