Sharon Kay Yon

Mrs. Sharon Kay Yon, age 61 of Ware, died at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born August 4, 1949 in St. Louis, MO., the daughter of Lester Woodrow and Georgia Anna (Limpert) Montgomery. Sharon is survived by her husband, Pleas of Ware; one son, J.R. Yon of Cobden; three grandchildren, Toni Ledbetter of Carbondale, Orry Dale of Cobden and Harley Yon of Cobden; two great-grandsons, Stephen and Nicholas Ledbetter of Carbondale; five sisters, Georgia Ford of Atkins, AR., Victoria Pinson of St. Louis, MO., Garriett Canoy of Sweeny, TX., Marlene Struckmeyer of St. Louis, MO., and Deborah Swan of Poplar Bluff, MO.; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lester Woodrow Montgomery Jr. and Ernest Francis Montgomery; and one sister, Donna Marie Hunter.Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Kay Yon will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
