Sharon Elizabeth Tomas

     Sharon Elizabeth Tomas, age 64 of Herrin, formerly of Anna, died Sunday, April 19, 2026 in Herrin Hospital. She was born September 28, 1961 to Leonard and Alberta Mae (Eastwood) Cook.

     Sharon is survived by cousins, Marilyn Land, Debbie Smith, Cathy Thompson, David Garrett, Linda Rendleman, Steve Eastwood, Susan Curtis, and Lisa Halterman; friend, Linda Lester, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Charles Wayne Cook, Billy Dean, Donnie Ray, Peggy Jean, Judy Kay, and Junior “Zip” Toler.

     For many years, Sharon worked at Kroger. She previously worked at Union County Hospital. Sharon touched many lives and she will be dearly missed.
