Sharon Kay (Gibbons) Dover

Sharon Kay Dover, age 75 of Anna, died Sunday, June 29, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born January 7, 1950 in Anna, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred (Newberry) Gibbons. She married Wilson Dover June 30, 1992 in Paducah, KY. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2017.

Sharon is survived by her children, Bryan D. Harvell of Anna, Shannon R. Palmier of Anna and Carl W. (Judy) Dover of Hebron, Ky; grandchildren, Brett (Gina) Dover, Brandon Dover, Brianne (Kyle) Dover and Caleb E. Harvell; five great-grandchildren; sister, Judith (Gerald) Pitts of Wolf Lake, Dan (Beverly) Gibbons of Cobden, sister in law, Carla Sims of Anna and mother in law, Edna Eastwood of Anna; nieces and nephews; other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wilson Dover.

Sharon worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the Fellowship House for many years until her retirement. In her younger days she enjoyed helping her parents on their produce farm. She was a lifetime member of the Anna Moose Lodge 1346.

Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Casper Cemetery in Anna. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 12:00 Noon at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Anna Moose Lodge from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
