Sharon K. (Barker) Malone

Sharon K. Malone, age 81 of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 20, 1941 in Anna, the daughter of Archie and Pearl (Shepard) Barker. She married Larry Malone on December 14, 2000 in Anna.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Larry Malone; four sisters, Pam Pind, Jan (Melvin) Brown, Shelby Brown and Brenda (Charles) Durham; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Hanney and Karen Smith and two brothers, Sonny and Gary Barker.

Sharon was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna. She loved taking care of people and her home. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and going on shopping trips. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Funeral services for Sharon Malone will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.  Interment will follow at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 11:00 Monday, September 26, 2022 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
