Mr. Scott M. Smith, age 50 of Jonesboro, died at 6:53 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born November 20, 1964 in Anna, the son of Jim and Betty Shepard Smith. Scott is survived by his father, Jim Smith of Jonesboro; two sons, Floyd (Rachale) Smith of Murphysboro and Stephen Smith (Jamie White) of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Darren, Johnathan, McKenzie and Brayden Smith; one sister, Sandra Clements of Anna; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services for Mr. Scott M. Smith will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Mike Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery in Anna.
