Mrs. Sarah Frances "Sallie" Bradley, age 94 of Cape Girardeau, MO, formerly of Anna, died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born August 14, 1917 in Union County, the daughter of Harry and Monica Wiggins Treece. She married James Bradley on August 6, 1941 in Jackson, MO. Sallie is survived by her husband of 70 years, James Bradley of Cape Girardeau, MO; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded by one brother, Tyrus Treece. Sallie was confirmed at the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna and was a member of the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glenn Ellyn, IL. Sallie was passionate about her many hours of volunteer work at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and the Faith Lutheran Church. Sallie was a 1934 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. She worked as the secretary for the Union County Farm Bureau for a number of years. Sallie greatly enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and playing cards. She will be dearly missed and warmly remembered by everyone who knew her. Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Frances "Sallie" Bradley will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with her nephew, Rev. Dr. Sam White officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery in Anna. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's charity of choice. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
