Sandra Lee Smith

Mrs. Sandra Lee Smith, age 57 of rural Dongola, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. She was born July 7, 1960 in Aurora, the daughter of Langley and Donna (Sichling) West. She married Claude L. Smith on June 25, 1977. Sandra is survived by her husband, Claude L. Smith of rural Dongola; three sons, Tramps Smith, Jacob Smith, and Ben Smith; father, Langley West of Vienna; seven grandchildren, Zakary Smith, Ella Smith, Trinity Adams, Bailey Bible, Keara Bible, Drake Bible, and Nyleah Silliman; siblings, Joe West, LaDonna McDowell, and Mike West; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna West and son, Zane Smith. Sandra was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dongola. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by everyone. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the Friendship Cemetery in Dongola with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
