Sandra Faye Lyerla

Mrs. Sandra Faye Lyerla, age 55, of Cobden, died at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home in Cobden. She was born March 21, 1957 in Peoria, the daughter of William and Patsie Barringer Griffith. She married Wes Lyerla Jr. on May 10, 1997 at the First Baptist Church in Cobden. Sandra is survived by her loving husband Wes Lyerla of Cobden; one son, Joel Aaron (Amber) Martin their son, Madden Wesley Isaiah Martin of Anna; Wes' children, Courtney (Adam) Haddick, their daughter, Camille Haddick of Murphysboro and Collin Wesley III (Amy) Lyerla, their children Payton and Carolynn of Branson, MO; parents, William and Patsie Griffith of Buncombe; two sisters, Crystal (Tom) Kee of Buncombe and Lorraine (Shawn) Moreland of Cobden; other relatives and many friends. Sandra was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist church. She was an author and artist, she has written two unpublished books. She worked at U.S. Bank in Cobden as a Loan Officer. Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Faye Lyerla will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Doug Bridgeman officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
