Ruth Reynolds

Mrs. Ruth Reynolds, age 73 of Cobden, died at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the Integrity Healthcare of Anna. She was born January 26, 1944 in Cobden, the daughter of Clifford W. and Evelyn Virginia (Linton) Nance. She married Donald Gene "Poncho" Reynolds on March 31, 1964 in Anna. He preceded her in death on march 6, 1995. Ruth is survived by her six children, Marsha Kessner of Cobden, Katrina (Kenny) Henderson of Mounds, Corey Reynolds of Paducah, KY, ,Kiley Reynolds of Cobden, Dawn (Manuel) Martinez of Princeton, IN, and Amber (Aaron) Martin of Anna; seven grandchildren, Timmy(fiancé Renee) Dickerson, Jessica Reynolds, Brittany Henderson, Braden Martinez, Genia Martinez, Daniel Santos, and Isaiah Martin; one great-grandchild, Libby Henderson; two brothers, James (Kristen) Nance of Anna and Wayne (Christine) Nance of Kell, IL; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Donald Gene "Poncho" Reynolds. Ruth was a life-long member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden. She loved reading mystery and romance novels, and going to yard sales. Everyone will remember Ruth for her love of laughter and smile. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Reynolds will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the Cobden Cemetery with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
