Ruth D Glaab

Mrs. Ruth D. Glaab, age 81, of Anna, died at 3:37 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born June 6, 1929 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the daughter of Chelsey and Susie Lightfoot Tulley. She married Cletus E. Glaab on October 31, 1947 in Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2001.Ruth is survived by one daughter, Norma Jean Wilkins of Germantown, MD; one son, Thomas Martin Sr. (Kimberly) Glaab of Anna; four grandchildren, Thomas Glaab Jr., Abby Santos, Jon Thomas Wilkins, Breanna Glaab; five great-grandchildren, Dravin Glaab, Brandon Westmoreland, Christian Santos, Elijah Moses, Shalie Freeman; one sister, Bonnie Costin of Redford, IN; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Cletus.Ruth was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church for many years, and was a member of the Leisure Club of the Church.Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth D. Tulley Glaab, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment will be in the Lindsey Cemetery in McClure. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
