Ruth Corbitt

Ruth Corbitt, age 95 of Danville, Indiana and formerly of Anna died at 3:58 am Saturday January 21, 2012 in Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, IN. Ruth was born April 9, 1916 in Makanda the daughter of John and Myrtle Harper Stacy. She married Paul Corbitt.Survivors include a daughter-in-law Joyce Corbitt, two grandchildren Cinda (Randy) Ferguson and Mike (Helen) Corbitt all of Danville, IN five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband one son Bill, one brother Bob Stacy, and one sister Helen Meyer.Ruth attended the Anna First Baptist Church throughout her life. Ruth retired from Choate Mental Health Center and had also worked at Kroger and as a tour guide for Presley Tours.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 12:00 pm in Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 am until the funeral hour. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stinson Library. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
