Ruth Cavaness

Ruth Cavaness, age 85 of Roswell, GA, formerly of Anna, died Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born July 1, 1932 in Pomona the daughter of Augusta May (Casper). She married Donald Clifford Cavaness on July 15, 1952 in Cobden. Later she married Don R. Shadowens. Ruth is survived by one daughter, LaDonna Wallace of Villa Park; one son, Mark (Grace) Cavaness of Roswell, GA; three grandchildren, Jaela, Justin and Jonathan Cavaness all of Roswell, GA. She was preceded in death by her mother; husbands; one sister, Jean Lamer. Ruth was of the Baptist Faith. She worked for several years at Florsheim Shoe Factory and Wal-Mart. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Alto Pass Cemetery in Alto Passwith Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
