Roy Amos Pratt

Roy Amos Pratt, age 93 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Marion VA Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1928 in Anna, the son of Roy Lee and Wilda Alma (Toler) Pratt. He married Ruth Eileen Bevan on September 25, 1971 in Crete. Roy is survived by his wife, Ruth Eileen Pratt of Jonesboro; sons, Roy Lee Pratt of Ocala, FL and Tod Hinkle of Dongola; daughter, Stacy Trevathan of Terre Haute, IN; stepsons, David Mathew of Anna and Steve Mathew of Buncombe; step daughter, Terri Jacob of Green Forrest, AR; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Colleen Hinkle; step son, Clifford Mathew; siblings, Dorothy Holmes, Nevada Hileman, and Barbara. Roy served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna. Roy spent his whole life working in an auto body shop and loved his work. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the funeral home.
