Roy Marshall

Roy Marshall, age 68 of Buncombe, died Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Herrin Hospital. He was born December 5, 1953 in Los Cruces, New Mexico, the son of Lee Roy and Frances (Wilson) Marshall. He married M. Irene Woods in Phoenix, Arizona. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2017. Roy is survived by his son, Terry (Shelley) Marshall of Buncombe; daughter, Rebecca (Roger) Seyer of Scott City, Missouri; seven grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy (Sonny) Deatherage of Phoenix, Arizona, Kim Kimbell of Phoenix, Arizona, Nathan (Roberta) Marshall of Marion; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, M. Irene Marshall. Roy was retired from L & P Carpet after 37 years of laying commercial flooring all over the tristate area. Roy took great pride in his workmanship. He loved carpentry and mechanics, especially when it came to problem solving and fabrication. There will be no services held at this time.
