Rosemary H (Brumleve) Heern

Rosemary H. Heern, age 91 of Memphis, Tennessee formerly of Makanda, Illinois died Sunday, July 7, 2024 in Memphis. She was born on November 25, 1932 in Cobden, Illinois, the daughter of Leo and Margaret (Basler) Brumleve. She married Jesse C. Heern on April 30, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1997.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Anne and Thomas Krajenta, granddaughter, Kara Krajenta, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Harold, Wilbert and Charles Brumleve.

While living in Southern Illinois, Rosemary was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Carbondale. During her time in Tennessee, she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Cordova. She was also a member of the Ladies Rosary Guild at St. Francis in Cordova. For many years, she was a secretary for Presley Tours in Makanda. She enjoyed playing piano and spending time with her family and friends.

Graveside memorial services for Rosemary Heern will take place at 11:00 am Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda with Father Bob Flannery officiating. Inurnment will follow. Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is assisting the Heern family with arrangements.
