Ronald Phillip Miller, age 60 of Anna, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, just six days after the death of his mother Phyllis. He was born on July 17, 1966 in Anna, the son of Carol and Phyllis (Sadler) Miller.
Ron is survived by his son, Dusty (Natalie) Miller; granddaughter, Elisabeth Miller; siblings, Joe (Jenny) Miller, Jonathan (Kathy) Miller, and Angie Stoner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Sandy (Smith) Kohler. She was his only wife and still a good friend and member of the family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron was a hard worker and gave his all to everything. Throughout the years, he worked at Kroger, Bunny Bread and L and P Carpet. He was a union flooring installer. He also owned and operated a re-sale shop and upholstery business. He enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, leather crafts, camping, playing music and visiting flea markets and yard sales. Above all, Ron loved his family and adored his son and granddaughter
Funeral services for Ronald Miller will be held along with those of his mother Phyllis at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Mark Hasty officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2026 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home to assist with final expenses. Donations may be made electronically using the link below. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
