Ronald Lee Keller, age 66 of Belleville, formerly of Union County, died Monday, December 4, 2023 in St. Louis University Hospital. He was born October 8, 1957 in Anna, the son of Billy Ray and Doris (Dunaway) Keller. He married Suzanne Bailey on June 4, 2005 in Germantown, IL.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Suzanne Keller of Belleville; mother, Doris Keller of Anna; children, Nick Keller of Belleville, Megan (Caleb) Crabtree of Anna, Julia Lawson of Salem, John Bailey and Bryan Bailey both of Centralia; thirteen grandchildren; brothers, Larry Joe (Melody) Keller of Jonesboro and Steven (Gian) Keller of Choctaw, OK; many nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Copa; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Keller.
Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1976 until his retirement in 2002 as Master Sergeant. Over the course of his career with the Air Force he was stationed in various locations both in the states and overseas. His focus was with communications programing as well as computer system planning and implementation.
In his spare time Ronald enjoyed fishing, walking with Copa and just being outdoors. He loved playing and spending time with all his grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, IL at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Scott Air Force Base Military Honor Team and Local Area Veterans.
