Ronald Coomes, age 76 of Jonesboro, died Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Cobden Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born November 17, 1945 in Cairo, the son of Dan and Wilhelmina Julia Marie (Sauerbrunn) Coomes.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Ronda Coomes of Vienna; brothers, Cliff (Linda) Waller of Alto Pass, Donald (Lou) Coomes of Portage De Sioux, James (Vonnie) Laskaris of Oregon; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Snyder.
Ronald was of the Baptist faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Services will be at a later date and interment will be in the Anna Cemetery.
