Mr. Roger Moss, age 64 of Anna, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, surrounded by his family. He was born July 27, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Marshall and Vivian Rogers Moss. He married Karen Keegan on July 20, 1974 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Roger is survived by his loving wife, Karen Moss of Anna; one daughter, Christen (David) Jackson of Anna; four sons, Shane (Sherry) Moss of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jeremy (Josie) Moss of Anna, Ryan Moss of Anna, and Jason Smith of Anna; ten grandchildren who all had a special place in his heart that can never be broken; mother, Vivian Moss of Anna; one sister, Marsha (Steve) Berg of Grand Forks, North Dakota; two brothers, Jerry (Peggy) Moss of Nashville, Tennessee, Terry (Barb) Moss of Hampton, Tennessee; mother in law; brother in law; and sister in law all of Grand Forks, North Dakota; numerous nieces and nephews who too were very special to him; a very dear and close friend, Steve Trexler of Alto Pass; other relatives and many friends. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Moss; and father in law, James Keegan. Roger was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna for many years. He worked as a security officer at Choate Mental Health and retired after thirty years of service. Roger enjoyed woodworking, horses, and dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Roger Moss will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna with Rev. Richard Pearce and Rev. Lonnie Lewis officiating. Interment will be at McKinney Chapel Cemetery in Marion. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Landmark Pentecostal Church. Envelopes will be available at the church and Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
