Roger Dale Cook

Roger Dale Cook, age 71 of Anna, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born on January 23, 1953, in Union County, the son of Lawrence W. and Juanita J. (Noble) Cook. He married Dena Inman on July 24, 1976, in Fredericktown, Missouri.

Roger is survived by his wife, Dena Cook of Anna; daughter, Melissa Graham of Jackson, Missouri; son, BJ Cook of Anna; grandchildren, Aniyah Graham, Gracie and Bella Cook and Zoe Hochstetler; brother, Larry (Linda) Cook of Dongola; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Betty Allen, Wilma Lacy and Mike Cook and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Norma Graham.

Roger attended the First Baptist Church in Cobden. He was a member of Dongola Masonic Lodge #581 and the Anna Oasis Shrine Club for over 30 years. He was a loving family man and great friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood carving. Roger was a character, always giving special nicknames to those he loved.

Masonic funeral rites for Roger Cook will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral services with Rev. Dr. Ed Falgout officiating will immediately follow the Masonic rites. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the service time at noon on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Envelopes are available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
