Roberta Lee Mcmahan

Mrs. Roberta Lee McMahan, age 76 of Anna, died at 9:33 am on Saturday June 8, 2013 at her home in Anna. Roberta was born on June 17, 1936 in Anna, the daughter of Ernest and Esther (Dillow) Thorne. She married Archie L. McMahan on June 21, 1955 in Sunnyland and for 57 years they were happily married. Roberta was a member of the First Christian Church of Anna. Roberta is survived by her husband, Archie; two sons, Stephen McMahan and John Douglas (DeNeille) McMahan, both of Anna; two grandchildren, Merritt McMahan and J.D. (Crystal Seyer) McMahan; one great-grandchild, Kayleigh Elizabeth McMahan; one sister, Patricia (Paul) Groves of Anna; one brother, Jerry (Sharon) Thorne of Anna; one aunt, Lorene Jenkins of Anna, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services for Mrs. Roberta Lee McMahan will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Dee Armes and Chaplain Greg Bittle officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home on Monday June 10 from 5 until 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Anna. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
