Robert R. Sullens

Robert R. Sullens, age 85 of Anna, formerly of Salem, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Deaconess Union County Hospital of Anna. He was born October 19, 1939 in Salem, the son of Russell and Zora Mae (Simmons) Sullens.

He is survived by his children, Tammy Nance, Eric (Roxanna) Sullens, and Michael "Andy" (Caron) Sullens; grandchildren, Aries and Zander Sullens, Tim (Susan) Nance, Joe and Scott (Jody) Nance, Ethan (Kristina), and Dalton (Kimberly) Myers; great-grandchildren, Nicole (Kris) Potter, Macayla, Landon, Adam, and Hannah Nance, Avery and Skylar Myers, Brody, and Hudson; step-mother, Norma Sullens; sister, LaVerne Sullens; brother, Douglas Sullens; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Basil Emery, Bill, and Rusell Sullens Jr.

Robert was a member of the American Legion and served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from the railroad. He was a very knowledgeable handyman, always tinkering with different projects. In his early life, he enjoyed taking his children on fishing trips.
