Robert Eads Jr.

Robert Eads Jr. age 67 of Cobden, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 27, 2021. He was born May 14, 1954 in Anna the son of Robert Sr. and Jean Ellen (Craft) Eads. Robert is survived by his mother, Jean Ellen Eads of Anna; son, Aaron Eads and daughter-in-law, Miriam Joline Eads of Cobden; three grandchildren, Summer and Barrett Eads, Bryan Kott; siblings, Larry Ray Eads of Cobden, Patti Jackson-Eads (Craig), William "Bill" (Yavonne) Eads of Cobden, Roger (Lisa) Eads of Anna, David Eads of Cobden; 7 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and great nephews; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eads Sr.; infant twin siblings, Julie and James Eads; two sisters, Donna Mount and Teresa Verble. Robert honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was retired from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale as a Master Technician in Travel Services. Robert enjoyed collecting antique records and glass. He cherished spending time with his family and friends.
