Robert "Bob" Jerrell, age 77 of Cobden, died Sunday, September 20, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born February 9, 1943 in Pulaski, the son of Roscoe and Martha (Lindsey) Jerrell. He married Peggy Ralls-Youngblood on July 4, 2005. Bob is survived by his mother, Martha Jerrell; wife, Peggy Jerrell of Cobden; children, Kandace (Michael) Brink of St. Charles, Robert Minor (Stacey) Jerrell III of Cobden, and Brandy Jerrell of Lick Creek; step-children, Kenna (Dom Spinella) Anderes of San Diego, CA, Mark (Vickie) Youngblood of Cleveland, TN, and Darren (Amanda) Youngblood of Anna; grandchildren, Jordyn and Emma Brink, Caleb and Quinton Jerrell, Tegan and Kalaina Anderes, and Kelsey and Hali Youngblood; brother, Dennis (Kathy) Jerrell and family; sister-in-law, Geloria Jerrell and family; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Jerrell; brother, Jack Jerrell; infant son, Jeremiah Justin Jerrell. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and did most of the cooking there. Throughout his life he worked as a farmer, owned the Vienna IGA, and worked at the Vienna Correctional Facility. He could sing karaoke with the best of them and he loved gardening and cattle farming. Private graveside services will be held for the family. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna.
