Robert "Bob" J. Womick

Mr. Robert J. "Bob" Womick, age 81 of Anna, died at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Anna Rehab and Care Center in Anna. He was born August 10, 1929 in Anna, the son of William H. and Myrtle Johnson Womick. He married Doris M. Hankla on March 21, 1948 in Piggott, AR. Bob is survived by his wife, Doris of Anna; two daughters, Kathie (Ronnie) Watkins and Nancy (Bill) Hooks all of Anna; three grandchildren, Ryan Watkins, Eric (Cassie) Watkins and Lindsey (Jeff) Houston; three great-grandchildren, Jenna and Jonah Watkins, Seth Houston; one brother, Ted Womick of Anna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters. Bob was a member of the Anna United Methodist Church for many years. He retired from CIPS as a meter reader and in earlier years worked for JoAnn Laundry. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Robert J. "Bob" Womick will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Anna United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Minor officiating. Interment will be held privately at the Anna Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna United Methodist Church or to TIP Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
