Mr. Robert "Red" Hileman, age 82 of Anna, died at 9:10 am, Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Jonesboro Rehab & Healthcare Center. He was born on February 18, 1931, the son of Lory and Mabel (Keith) Hileman. Red is survived by a brother, Harold Hileman of Murphysboro; a niece, Deanna G. Hileman of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Bea Stevens of Jonesboro; special friends, Gary and Brenda Phillips of Anna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Hileman and one sister, Doris Rushing.Red proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the First Christian Church of Anna. He worked for many years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Red" Hileman will be conducted on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 2:30 pm at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be at the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery with Military Funeral Honors provided by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW of Anna and the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna on Sunday, May 26 from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at 2:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Anna or P.A.W.S. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
