Robert "Bob" Dillow

Robert "Bob" Dillow, 81 of Anna, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at St. Louis University Medical Center. He was born on August 6, 1939 in Union County the son of Sescel and Opal (Treece) Dillow. He married Dorothy Hazel on August 22, 1958 in Ware.He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Anna; his sons, Robert (Johnna) Dillow, Jr. of Titusville, Florida and Kevin (Tracy) Dillow of Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren, Joni (Travis) Geske, Jacob Dillow, Gini Marks, Sarah (Landon) Combs and Beth Otto, great-grandchildren, Sabrina Geske and Charlie Combs; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward 'Bud" Dillow; sister, Anita Bunch; an infant sister; 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild.Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved to play golf and was a member of the Union County Country Club.Graveside funeral services for Robert "Bob" Dillow will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Anna Cemetery with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will follow with military honors provided by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Funeral Honor Team. Everyone attending will be required to wear face coverings and observe social distance guidelines. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veteran's Home Activity Fund.
