Mr. Robert Wayne "Bob" Clark, age 65 of Cobden, died at 5:16 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at his daughters home. He was born March 24, 1951 in Cobden, the son of Hubert Richard and Evelene Clutts Clark. He married Martha "Marty" Richard on May 28, 1974 in Portsmouth, NH. Bob is survived by his loving wife of forty two years, Marty Clark of Cobden; three daughters, Amy (Kenny) Penrod of Dongola, Stacy (Stevie) Turner of Cobden, Robin Clark (Ralph Carmack) of Cobden; nine grandchildren, Jessica Goodwin (Andrew Kennedy), Samantha (Ethan) Miller, Rebecca Penrod (Josh Basler), Jamie (Chris) Raines, Brandon Turner (Kelli Pearson), Matthew & Dylan Turner, Logan and Ayden Hallett; twelve great-grandchildren, Emily, Brayden and Chelsea Goodwin, Jaxson Kennedy, Savannah and Alaina Miller, Dixie Basler, Laylah Raines, Jayden Pearson, Kelsi, Kadin and Keaton Carmack; two sisters in law, Linda and Lucy Clark; one brother in law, Charles Jackson; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald Wayne Clark; grandson, Austin Wayne Clark-Towle; three brothers, John, Charley and Mart Clark; and one sister, Estella Jackson. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976 as a prison guard. He worked many years for the Village of Cobden in the Maintenance Department. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Wayne "Bob" Clark will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Mike Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Marine Corp Funeral Honor Detail. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 noon in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
