Robert Thomas "Bob" Reynolds

Mr. Robert Thomas "Bob" Reynolds, age 70 of Anna, died at 6:53 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 10, 1943 in Jonesboro, the son of Robert Lee and Sarah Viola Burns Reynolds. He married Brenda Rapier on March 22, 1968 in Momence, Illinois. Bob is survived by his wife, Brenda Reynolds of Anna; two daughters, Gina Stokes of Anna, Kathy (Gary) Clover of Murphysboro; four grandchildren, Sarah Savannah Edwards, Zachary Stokes, David (Anna) Clover and Ashley Clover; one great grandchild, Charlotte Mae Clover; three brothers, George (Trudy) Reynolds of Carbondale, Richard (Emma) Reynolds of Anna, Bon (Linda) Reynolds of Anna; one sister, Linda (Kenneth) Roach of Jonesboro; sisters in law, Mary Lou Reynolds of Jonesboro and Jerry Reynolds of Golconda; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jim, Harold and Carroll Reynolds and two sisters, Sue Reynolds and Lillian Hartline. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked many years in the construction industry. He loved planting trees and landscaping. Bob enjoyed buying older homes, restoring them and moving on to the next, over the years he did this twenty two times. Memorial services for Mr. Robert Thomas "Bob" Reynolds will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Faith Community Church in Anna with Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until 1:00 p.m. at the Faith Community Church in Anna.
