Robert G. "Bob" Lence

Mr. Robert G. "Bob" Lence, age 73 of Anna, died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home in Anna. He was born February 26, 1940 in Anna, the son of Frank G. and Minnie Snell Lence. He married Paula K. Fowler on November 10, 1962 in Red Bud, IL. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Paula K. Lence of Anna; one daughter, Heather (Hunter) Cannon of Chicago; one son, Robert (Khrista) Lence of Anna; three grandchildren, Caleb Lence, Aaron Lence and Kennedy Cannon; one brother, Frankie Lence of Anna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John Lence. Bob owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Anna with his wife, Paula for the last forty five years. Funeral services for Mr. Robert G. "Bob" Lence will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Mark Laster officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. and until the service hour at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
