Rita C. Pearl, age 91 of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at her home. She was born on April 23, 1935 in Oran, Missouri, the daughter of Bernard and Theresa (LeGrand) Sietman. She married Paul Kenneth Pearl on August 4, 1958. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2003.
Rita is survived by her children, Kenny Pearl (Karen Lewis), Eddie (Dee) Pearl, Tim (Trina) Pearl and Tom (Shelly) Pearl; grandchildren, Cristi, Shannon, Todd, Dalton, Sarah, Mike, Samantha, Ben, Chris, Timothy Scott, Clayton, Chase, Kamryn and Kacey. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Theresa McKinney and Nancee Morrison and siblings, Mary Jane, Joe and Clyde Sietman.
Rita was a long-time, devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Anna. She enjoyed cooking, camping and NASCAR. Along with her church, her other great love was her family. She was a bonus mom to any child that was fortunate enough to spend time with her and a friend to everyone she met. She never met a stranger. She will certainly be missed.
Funeral mass for Rita Pearl will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 11, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Anna with Father Larry Lemay as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church. Envelopes will be available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home and at the church.
