Ricky R. D. Williams Sr.

Ricky R.D. Williams Sr., age 66 of Anna, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home. He was born September 1, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL the son of Al and Mavis (Cook) Williams in East St. Louis. Ricky was an avid hunter and fisherman. He coached little league baseball for many years. Ricky is survived by his father Al (Gloria) Williams of Cobden; children, Rick (Tammy) Williams, Shane Williams and Shawn Laminack all of Anna; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Lana (Roger) Glasco of Pulaski, Donna (Jeff) Pratt of MO, Brenda Hampton of Anna, Debbie (Terry) Wenger of Jonesboro and Kathy (Dee) Lipford of Ky; brothers; David (Charity) Williams of Cobden and Jonathon (Amber) Williams of Jonesboro; special friend, Margie Laminack of Anna; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mavis (Don) Cook; son, Josh Williams; brothers, Billy and Scott Cook. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Water Valley Church in Cobden with Pastor David Williams officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Casper Cemetery in Anna. Friends may call after 11:00 and until the service hour on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the church. Memorials can be made to Rick Williams. Envelopes will be available at the church and Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. All those attending will be required to wear coverings and observe social distancing guidelines.
