Richard N. “Rick” Dillow, age 81 of Anna, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 in Panama City, Florida. He was born on May 25, 1944 in Carbondale, the son of Ralph and Anita (Sanford) Dillow. He married Wanda (Belcher) Dillon on August 13, 1988.
Rick is survived by his wife, Wanda Dillow; children, Alecia Dillow-Hayes, Andrea (Bryan) Pritchard, Matt (Ilse) Dillon and Adam (Kim) Dillon; grandchildren, Brittany, Andrew (Megan), Braden, Trey, Bridget, Addison and Logan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Aimee Dillow; brother, Ralph Dillow and sister, Brenda Saturno.
Rick attended Anna United Methodist Church. He was an accomplished and talented artist, working with paint and wood to create pieces for him and his family. He spent countless hours in his workshop making sure things were perfect. He handcrafted cradles for all his grandchildren when they were born. His love and passion for art could only be surpassed by the love he had for his family. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Every summer, Rick and Wanda hosted “Poppy and Grammy’s Summer Camp”. He enjoyed taking road trips with Wanda to visit his family in Houston and Charleston. They also enjoyed trips to the mountains in North Carolina, Helen, Georgia and enjoyed the jazz music of New Orleans.
Funeral services for Rick Dillow will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Tim Gossett officiating. Interment will follow in the Anna Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2026 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, a place Rick loved to explore with his grandchildren, or to the Anna United Methodist Church. Envelopes are available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
