Richard Wayne Davis

Mr. Richard Wayne "Dick" Davis, age 69 of Anna, died at 2:43 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at his home in Anna. He was born September 20, 1941 in Anna, the son of Samuel H. and Wanda Roberts Davis. He married Nadine Morgan on November 9, 1963 in Anna. Dick is survived by his wife Nadine Davis of Anna; two daughters, Bonita Marlena "Boo" (J.B.) Sisson of Thebes, Deborah Mitchell (Ronald) Braidwood of Louisville; one son, Richard W. Davis III of Louisville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dick was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna. He was also a member of the Anna Moose Lodge for many years.Funeral services for Mr. Richard Wayne "Dick" Davis will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday March 25, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna with Father Federico Higuera officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Military funeral honors will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Marion Military Funeral Honors team in Marion. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to TIP Hospice.
