Rebecca Dawn Johnson

Rebecca Dawn Johnson, age 52 of Cobden, died Sunday, January 14, 2018 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born August 2, 1965 in Lincoln, NE, the daughter of Raymond Dewayne and LaVada Louise (Pearson) Baggott. She married Roy Scott Johnson on May 29, 2006 in Paducah. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Roy Scott Johnson of Cobden; father, Raymond D. (Diane) Baggott of Du Quoin; brother, Ray L. (Lori) Baggott of Du Quoin, sister, Regina (Roy) Beers of Hurst; step-sister, Bethany (Josh) Edwards of Springfield; father and mother in law, Roy (Elaine) Johnson of Cobden; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, LaVada Louise Baggott; brother, Robby Baggott; and step-daughter, Bethany Johnson. Rebecca was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She worked as a Pediatric R.N. at St. Francis Medical Center and Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, and was very passionate about her career. Rebecca was loved by everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed. Funeral services for Rebecca Dawn Johnson will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Pastor Raymond Baggottand Larry Pearson officiating. Interment will be in the Kelly Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 11:00 on Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
