R.C. Guined

Mr. R.C. Guined, age 82 of Hamilton, MS, formerly of Anna, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his home in Hamilton, MS. He was born April 27, 1930 in Haleyville, AL, the son of John T. and Martha Elizabeth Harold Guined. He married Lillie Winslett on June 7, 1952. She preceded him in death after fifty three years of marriage on October 11, 2006. R. C. is survived by his wife, Annetta Guined of Hamilton, MS; four sons, Gene (Doris) Guined of Laurel, MS, Steve (Dee) Guined of Anna, Danny (Laura) Guined of Anna, Roger (Mary) Guined of Madisonville, KY; Annetta's son, Stacy (Courtney) Guined of Hamilton, MS; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Price of Parkville, MO; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillie Guined; twenty three brothers and sisters. R. C. was a member of the Fig Hill Church in Hamilton, MS and worked many years as an engineer for the Railroad. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services for Mr. R.C. Guined will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna with Rev. Steven and Chad Guined officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Graveside funeral honors will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veteran's Home Activity Fund. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and at the Church.
