Raymond Eugene Gibbs

Raymond Eugene Gibbs, age 70 of Anna, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home. He was born, September 25, 1951 in Anna, the son of Elmer and Lena (Brunner) Gibbs. He married Cheryl Ashline on September 15, 1981 in Jonesboro.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Gibbs of Anna; daughter, Cassie Heern (Chris Campbell) of Jonesboro; son, Jesse Gibbs of Anna;  grandchildren, Mark, Chase, and Macey Heern and Tanner Solomon; siblings, Mary (Jerry) Richardson of Anna, Delores (Doug) Barton of Chicago; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Renee Solomon; siblings, Paul Gibbs, Charlie Gibbs, Lorene Benedette and Mildred Dillow.

Eugene worked many years as a Rehabilitation Counselor. He loved watching his grandson play baseball. He enjoyed cooking, watching football and spending time with his family.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Cheryl Gibbs. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
