Ray Dean Miller

    Ray Dean Miller, age 83 of Anna, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at Sunshine Gardens in Marion. He was born on March 10, 1942 in Anna, the son of Marion E. and Myra (Brown) Miller.

    Ray is survived by his sister-in-law, Joan Miller of Jonesboro; nephews, Walter Page and Mitch Buster; niece, Dana Chadez; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marion Kenneth Miller.

    Ray attended Mill Creek Baptist Church. He grew up on the family farm and loved everything about it, from growing crops and taking care of the animals to catching catfish from their farm pond. He was recognized as a 60 year member of the Illinois Farm Bureau.

    Funeral services for Ray Dean Miller will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Mike Cole officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, west of Dongola. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the service time at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the funeral home.
