Ralph Eugene "Gene" Spring

Mr. Ralph Eugene "Gene" Spring, age 84 of Wolf Lake, died at 10:10 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 in the Marion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born October 25, 1930 in Wolf Lake, the son of Ralph G. and Helen Tucker Spring. He married Mary Louise West on April 5, 1958 in Union County. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise Spring of Wolf Lake; three sons, Ronald Rosenthal, Duane Spring, Brad and wife Kim Spring; four grandchildren, Tim Rosenthal, Jodi (Rosenthal) and Husband Scott Treece, Ellen (Spring) and husband Jordan Graff; Amy Toler; five great grandchildren, Austin Treece and girlfriend, Maggie Morgan, Kayla Treece and boyfriend, Michael Calhoun, Braeden Treece, Ava Rosenthal, Cole Halterman; sister, Jeanette Kissel of St. Louis, MO; nephews, Mike Kissel, Steve and wife Kris Kissel; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph G. Spring; mother, Helen (Tucker) Spring; sister, Peggy Spring; and son, Kevin Spring. Gene was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church. He was a truck driver and farmer for many years. Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Eugene "Gene" Spring will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. John Cripps officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
