Raleigh Webb

Mr. Raleigh Webb, age 68 of Anna, died at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born March 29, 1942 in Cypress, the son of Owen and Emma Miles Webb. Raleigh is survived by his wife Pat (Dillow) of Anna; one daughter, Felicia (Fredrick) Gibbs of St. Charles, MO; two sons, Phillip (Jodi) Webb and William Shane Webb all of Springville, TN; six grandchildren, Luke Gibbs, Benjamin Gibbs, Nathan Patrick Webb, Owen Wade Webb, Mariah Whitney and Clayton Webb; three brothers, Owen Lee Webb and Raymond Webb both of Buncombe, Ronald Webb of Cypress; one sister, Joyce Ann Reichert of Buncombe; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph Webb and one sister, Sylvia Webb.Farming was Raleigh's passion; later in life he operated heavy equipment machinery until his retirement. Funeral services for Mr. Raleigh Webb will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Webb Church in Tunnel Hill, with the Rev. Glenn Webb officiating. Interment will be in the Webb Cemetery in Tunnel Hill. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. and until the funeral hour at the Webb Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Webb Church. Envelopes will be available at the Church and at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
