Phyllis Kay Ridgway

Phyllis Kay Ridgway, age 70 of Anna, died at 7:45 pm, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at her home. She was born in Jonesboro on March 24, 1940, the daughter of Roy Cletus and Helen L. (Slicker) Womack. Phyllis married Lindell Lingle on July 26, 1958 and he preceded her in death on October 30, 1998. She later married Oliver Ridgway on February 26, 2001 in Paducah, KY and she was a member of the Jonesboro First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Oliver; one daughter, Kimbra L. (Harold) Sharp of Cobden; two sons, Lindell "Buddy" Lingle Jr. of Anna and Brett (Diane) Lingle of Nolanville, TX; three grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Faulkner, Cayla Louise Lingle and Cheyene Lynn Lingle; two sisters, Linda (Dean) Newman of Anna and Royce Womack of Bloomington, IL; two nephews, Dusty Newman and Heath Newman; two cousins, Jim Brown and Celia Barker, other relatives and many friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her first husband, Lindell Lingle Sr.; her parents, Roy and Helen Womack and her step-mother, Deloris Womack. Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Phil Nelson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, October 23 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to TIP Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
