Phillip Rodger Rosson, age 81 of Anna, passed away, Monday, September 29, 2025 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Anna. He was born January 2, 1944 in Anna, the son of Harry and Helen (McMillion) Rosson.

Phil is survived by his brother, Kenneth and wife Ann Rosson of Jonesboro; two sisters, Shelby and husband John Pickel of Jonesboro, Nancy and husband Brian Young of Effingham; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Rosson-Smith; and two brothers, Larry G. Rosson and Dwain Rosson.

Phil honorably served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He spent his working career as a truck driver.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10:30 Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Anna Cemetery with Tamiko Mueller officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Army Funeral Honor Team. Interment will immediately follow.
