Mr. Phillip Andrew Johnson, age 63 of Anna, died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his home in Anna. He was born January 24, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the son of Delwyn Charles and Marjorie Rita Duncan Johnson. He married Linda Klemm on June 13, 1981 in Glen Ellyn, IL. Phillip is survived by his wife Linda Johnson of Anna, three children, Donovan C. Johnson of Anna, Mallory J. Johnson of Charleston, IL, Morgan J. Johnson of Naperville, IL; two brothers, Richard Johnson, David Johnson; one sister, Eileen Pender; eleven brothers in law; twelve sisters in law; twenty four nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Phillip proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborne, 58th Infantry Scout Dog Platoon. He was a member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna; a 30 year member of the V.F.W. Post #2164 in Wheaton, IL; B.P.O.E. in Wheaton, IL; and the Vietnam Dog Handlers Association. Phillip was retired after many years as a carpenter. According to his wishes, Mr. Phillip Andrew Johnson was cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
