Paula Yvonne (Alsip) Hansil

Paula Yvonne Hansil, age 77 of Anna, passed suddenly Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born October 16, 1946 in Vienna, the daughter of Dallas and Naomi (Walker) Alsip. She married William J. Hansil on December 23, 1963 in Anna. He preceded her in death born February 13, 2008.

Paula is survived by her sons, Tony Hansil, Troy (Cindy) Hansil, Alex Hansil (Gina Stokes); favorite daughter, Tina Hansil-Kee (Russell); grandchildren, Jessie Hansil, Elizabeth Turner, Rachael Tripp, Dallas Hansil, Emmalee Hansil, Santanna Ficken, Ryan Hansil, Joey Hansil, James Garrett and Cheyenne Garrett; numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Alsip; mother, Naomi Singo; brother, Jerry Alsip and twin grandsons, Jeremiah and Jeremy Hansil.

Now that the sad part of this obituary is done, Paula would not want tears shed for her (maybe a few…she did die after all.) Paula had a wicked sense of humor and a quick wit that would leave people laughing or in shock. Nothing was off limits. You can thank (or blame) her for handing these traits down to her children. So, shed some tears if you must but please remember her with a smile and laughter and tell a joke in her honor.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Barbara Murray officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. and until the service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
