Paul E. Reynolds

Mr. Paul E. Reynolds, age 84 of rural Cobden, died at 11:59 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017 in the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. He was born May 5, 1933 in Jonesboro, the son of Edward Harrison & Rosa (Coats) Reynolds. Paul is survived by his best friend and mother of his children, Rose Reynolds of Coben; children, Kevin (Janet) Reynolds of Cobden, Karen (Roy) Burmeister of Davisburg, Michigan, James (Ursula) Reynolds of Cobden; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Bill Reynolds of Elgin and Eddie Lee Reynolds of Jonesboro, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Eddie Reynolds & Jeff Reynolds; two sisters & two brothers. Paul was a member of the Faith Community Church of Anna. He served his country in the Army National Guard. Paul retired from E.T. Simonds Construction where he worked for many years as a truck driver and is a member of the Teamsters Local # 347. Memorial services for Paul E. Reynolds will be at the Faith Community Church of Anna on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bon Reynolds and Rev. Richard Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Annaand the Illinois Army National Guard Funeral Honor Team of Marion. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Faith Community Church of Anna. Memorial contributions are to be made to St. Judes. Envelopes will be available at the church and Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
