Paul D. Miller

Paul D. Miller, age 75 of McClure, died at 5:54 pm, Monday, March 21, 2011 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. Paul was born on August 13, 1935 in Elco, IL, the son of Ray C. and Bertha Mae (Rhymer) Miller. He married Shirley Eudy on August 27, 1954 in Reynoldsville, IL. Paul worked many years as an electrician at the McDonald-Douglas Company before returning and working with his brother at the Ullin Body Shop. Survivors include his wife Shirley of McClure; one son, David Paul (Kristy) Miller of St. Charles, MO; one daughter, Penny (Kerry) Hill of McClure; two grandchildren, Julie D. Hill and Kacie R. Hill; one brother, Conrad (Laverne) Miller of Ullin, other relatives and many friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Bertha Miller; two brothers, Chuck and Gordon Miller and one sister, Deloris Eudy. Funeral services for Mr. Paul Miller will be conducted on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Reynoldsville Missionary Baptist Church in Reynoldsville at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Dan Brown officiating. Friends may call at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro on Thursday, March 24 from 5 until 8:00 pm and also Friday, March 25 at the Reynoldsville Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 pm until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Reynoldsville Missionary Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and also at the church.
