Patsy Kaye Ryan

     Patsy Kaye Ryan, age 73 of Chester, formerly of McClure, died Saturday, February 21, 2026 with her sister by her side. She was born June 16, 1952 in Anna, the daughter of Roy Lee and Nancy Louise (Turner) Ryan.

     Pat was “simply the best” to everyone; she never knew a stranger. She worked at Schnucks as a cashier for twenty-two years and loved her coworkers as family. Her nieces and nephews were like her own children, and everyone looked forward to the summertime adventures they would share. Pat was a master of music trivia and Tina Tuner’s biggest fan. She was a jokester with a big heart and enjoyed watching football and women’s basketball. She will be dearly missed.

     Pat is survived by her sister, Vicky Rodgers of Chester; nieces and nephews, Monica Rhodes, Tracey Smithers, T.L. Rhodes, Richelle Peterson, Denise Robitaille, Bryan Ryan, and Brittany Ryan; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, other extended relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tommy Ryan and Randy Scott Ryan; niece, Sherry Rhodes; and her beloved cat, Little Girl.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
